The Green Door Fund for
Workforce Development
The Fayette Community Foundation’s work is proudly community-driven, taking data and voice to strategically plan for long-term outcomes while providing resources for immediate needs. Following the 2021 community needs assessment that propelled The Red Door Fund for Mental
Health, the Fayette Community Foundation named workforce development and education as its
second public initiative to champion.
In 2023, the Fayette Community Foundation is proud to announce the establishment of The Green Door Fund.
This Fund will focus on enhancing local workforce development and education by convening community partners to begin identifying resources and solutions on this public initiative. This Fund exists to support the economic security and educational advancement of our local students and professionals in our community. By leveraging assets and resources, this community-led fund plans to invest in organizations and programs that enhance the workforce skills and knowledge in our rural region.
